- CycloFest: at U.S. National Whitewater Center, Saturday and Sunday. Live music by Trombone Shorty, and more. Bike rodeos, exhibitor demos, bike marketplace. Parking is $5.
- Huntersville Fall Festival: Historic Rural Hill, Saturday. Games, arts & crafts vendors, moon bounce, face painting, live music more. Admission is free, but some activities have a small fee.
- Sycamore Brewing’s two-year anniversary: Saturday. Live music. Purchase craft beer, cider, food from food trucks.
- Belmont Boo Festival: Saturday at Stowe Park in Belmont. Costume contest, carnival games, more.
- Kannapolis Fall Festival: Saturday in Village Park in Kannapolis. Games, treats, crafts. Followed by outdoor movie, Transylvania 2.
- 2nd Annual Breast Fest: Saturday at Haylo Healing Arts Lounge in Plaza Midwood. Live music, Yoga, drumming, art, more. Purchases and donations raise money for a retreat for cancer survivors.
- Southend Fall Festival: Saturday at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church. Free hayrides, bounce houses, trick-or-treating.
- Gh’oul Times Haunted Food Truck: Saturday at Charlotte Open Air Market. Face painting, costume contest, movies, games. Food for purchase.
- Halloween Party at Blue Blaze Brewing: Saturday. Pumpkin carving contest (BYOB pumpkin and tools), s’mores at fire pits, live music.
- Open Streets 704: Sunday. A three-mile path of streets through West Charlotte, Fourth Ward and SouthEnd will be closed to traffic and various fun activities will be taking place on the streets.
- Autumn at Atherton: Saturday at Atherton Market. Tastings, demos, balloon twisting, more.
