Bring your best friend to Fido Fest on the Green…or meet your new best friend!
Fido Fest on the Green takes place Saturday, September 18th, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Metropolitan, 1111 Metropolitan Avenue, Charlotte. It’s free to attend.
Fall is looking great around Charlotte, whether you’re looking for something spooky or totally kid-friendly! Many pet-related businesses will be on site, as will several animal shelters, although not all shelters will have adoptable animals on site.
The event is located on The Green, across from Modern Salon & Spa and Midtown Ballroom.
Parking is free. All animals must be on a leash. Water stations will be available for pets.
Activities include:
- Pet adoptions from local animal shelters
- Pet-inspired face painting, balloon twisting and caricature art
- Mini sessions with BARKography by Kim Hollis
- Pet products from local businesses
- Beverages from Sycamore Brewing
- Goody bags for the first 100 guests
