North Carolina Transportation Museum, at 1 Samuel Spencer Drive, Spencer, North Carolina, is hosting a Fire Truck Show on Saturday, June 19th, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Meet firefighters from around the state, get a close-up look at the equipment they use, vote for your favorite fire truck, and enjoy a fun family day at the museum.
Your ticket allows access to the museum grounds to see a variety of modern and antique fire trucks and equipment.
Kids will enjoy a scavenger hunt as they explore the museum exhibits featuring trains, airplanes, automobiles, trucks, and more.
This ticket does not include a train ride. Seating on the train is limited for social distancing and COVID-safety, so it’s recommended that you purchase the “Admission and Train Ride” ticket in advance while available. Train ride tickets may be available first-come first-served at the box office while supplies last. Train rides often sell out.
Cloth face masks are required in buildings, in the Gift Station, and anywhere social distancing of at least six feet is not possible.
During your visit, also enjoy activities and train rides throughout the day. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended.
Adult tickets for just the Fire Truck Show are $7 and children’s tickets (age 3-12) are $5. Seniors’ tickets (age 60+) and active military members’ tickets are $6.
If you buy tickets for the Fire Truck Show and a train ride, the cost is $14 for adults, $10 for children (age 3-12), $12 for seniors and active military members.
This event is free for museum members.
