Flux Galleries, 512 East 15th Street, Charlotte, NC, is presenting Photonic Flux from March 1 to 17, 2024, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. All ages are welcome.
The hours are 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day that the exhibit is open. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids, but keep reading for information on a way to attend for free.
Photonic Flux, by Rebecca Lipps and SuperDaftBros, is an interactive, immersive art space that uses projections, dynamic LED lighting, reflection, textures and color to create an experience, floor to ceiling, that’s never the same for any two people. (Or even for any one person twice.)
Crawl into a cave, duck through a tunnel, make your way through an undulating forest and more. You can touch (gently, of course) everything you see.
Throughout the exhibit you can even change the colors and patterns of the lights, making this responsive environment your own.
