The U.S. National Whitewater Center is offering up a new festival, River Slam, this year, on Friday, August 7th, 2015, through Sunday, August 9th. The festival is free to attend and features performances by seven bands. There will also be an opportunity to compete in the Amphibious Duathalon, which takes place Saturday and Sunday morning. There’s a fee to compete in the Duathalon. There’s also a $5 parking fee.
