Charlotte Concert Band presents Armed Forces Salute on Saturday, November 8th, 2014, in honor of Veterans Day. This free concert will be held at Dana Auditorium at Queens College, 1900 Selwyn Avenue, at 7:00 p.m. The concert will feature patriotic music and a brass quintet of the 282nd US Army Band from Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC. This all-American program, entitled “Armed Forces Salute,” will include works by Copland, Grundman, Ives, and more.
