Ascension Lutheran Church, 1225 East Morehead Street, is celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation with a free concert on Sunday, October 29th, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Bach choral cantata, BWV 129, “Sing Praise Unto the Lord.” This cantata, which will be performed in English by the singers of LCMS Lutheran churches in the Charlotte region, will be accompanied by a small orchestra of local and regional musicians.
Although it’s free, you do need a ticket.
