From the Town of Davidson, on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016. There’s a class for kids in K-5 at 1 p.m., and a class for kids in grades 6-8, at 3 p.m., both at Ada Jenkins Community Center.
Ready, set, ride! To make cycling safer and more fun, local experts will be on-hand to educate young riders. Children, ages 5-12, can bring a bike and helmet to participate in training stations where they learn about and practice safe bicycling skills. This program is offered in partnership with the NC Active Routes to School program, Mecklenburg County Safe Routes to School, and the Town of Davidson Police Department. This is a CMS school early release day.
