Experience Bombazo–a sharing of traditional Puerto Rican drumming, singing and dancing. The event is free and takes place at Freedom Park, 1900 East Boulevard, on Saturday, March 26th, 2016, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
YAPRE presents its 1st “Bombazo!” A “Bombazo” is a time when drummers and dancers gather as a community to sing traditional Puerto Rican songs and dance Bomba together! It is like a jam session, so drummers are welcomed to bring their instruments, others can bring their Maracas. You get the point! Women are encouraged to bring a skirt of any kind. All the family is welcome to come out in your casual clothing!
