Promising Pages, an organization with the mission of putting books into the hands of kids who need them, has an overflow situation, with thousands of books they need to distribute. These books are at the middle school and high school level. Titles include popular series such as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Divergent, Hunger Games etc., and all types of fiction, classics, and school reading (literature, Shakespeare, etc.)
On Saturday, August 15th, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., teachers, as well as others in organizations that work with middle school and high school students, are invited to come and pick out some books. On the day of the sale, bring your own boxes and bins. Carts and dollies will be on hand to wheel the books to your car. First-come, first-served.
