The Bridgestone Teens Drive Smart program is coming to Z Max at 6570 Bruton Smith Boulevard in Concord Saturday, September 6th, and Sunday, September 7th, 2014. This FREE program teaches teenagers skills beyond typical driver’s education program. They learn accident avoidance and how to handle skids. The hands-on portion of the four hour class, staged on a safe, closed course, puts the driver behind the wheel of a 2013 BMW 328i. Again, this program is completely free, but you do need to register in advance and space is limited. Right now, as I post, there is space. Participants need a valid driver’s license or learner’s permit. Parents are encouraged to stay. Visit the Bridgestone Teens Drive Smart website to register, as well to read a FAQ and other information. There is a morning and afternoon session each day.
