Whether or not you have tickets to the Charlotte Knights Opening Day game you can celebrate with the team and community on Friday, April 11th, 2014. Starting at noon, a party will be held at Romare Bearden Park, next door to the stadium. Players will be on hand signing autographs and there will be a caricature artist, stilt walkers, face painters, jugglers, strolling magicians, members of the Carolina Renaissance Faire, and music from Mo’ Money, Coconut Groove, and 20 Ride. The Budweiser Clydesdales will also be on hand for the day’s festivities and there will be art tents for kids with Discovery Place and the Gantt Museum.
