For the first time the Charlotte Symphony is offering a free preview party, Symphony on Tap. On Wednesday, September 16th, 2015, the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. outside the Belk Theater, along Tryon Street, with a brass ensemble performance of Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man. The preview concert inside Belk Theater will begin at 6 p.m. and last approximately one hour. This will be a casual concert, with the doors open throughout, so people can come and go as they please. Following the concert there will be a reception, with free appetizers, drink specials, and live music from the Rick Dior Quartet.
Advance registration is not required, but if you do register online you may win Symphony tickets. Also, vote for your choice for the audience choice selection.
