Toyland
Kings Mountain Historical Museum’s TOYLAND: A Holiday Exhibit runs from November 29, 2024, to January 3, 2025, Tuesday to Saturday. It’s closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The hours at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it’s free to visit.
The museum will be decorated for Christmas and the cases will be filled with antique toys and games. Parents and grandparents will enjoy reminiscing with the children about the toys and games of their childhood. A children’s activity area with stem toys and crafts will also be available. Bring your cameras – this exhibit provides great opportunities for holiday family photos.
Spirit of Christmas Past
Spirits of Christmas Past is a special event at the museum on December 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Step back into Christmas’ past with antique toys, historic games and roaring fires. The historic Barber House will be decked out for the holiday season with ongoing hearth cooking demonstrations from 10am to 5pm on the museum grounds!

Santa Visits the Museum
Santa will be at the Museum on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come hear Santa read “The Night Before Christmas” and take your picture with Santa Claus next to the Tree! There will be plenty of inspiration on what to ask Santa for with the variety of toys and games on display.
