African Children’s Choir is performing in a free concert on Sunday, September 13th, 2015, at 4:00 p.m., at Myers Park United Methodist Church, at 1501 Queens Road. The program will include children’s songs, as well as gospel and spiritual favorites.
The African Children’s Choir has performed before presidents, heads of state, and most recently the Queen of England at her Diamond Jubilee. The choir has also sung alongside Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and other famous performers.
The concert is free, but donations will go to educational efforts in Africa.
