The Abbey Basilica will host Carl DuPont, bass-baritone, in a concert of 18th century music – mostly that of J.S. Bach, Monday June 27, 2016 at 8:00 PM, in the Abbey Basilica. DuPont, a member of the music faculty at UNC-Charlotte, has been selected to be a part of the XXth International Bach Competition in Leipzig, Germany. Prior to his traveling to Germany, he is offering this program to area audiences. He will be accompanied by organ, harpsichord and a few other instruments. Admission is free.
