Mosaic Arts and Opera Carolina are collaborating in a free public concert to express solidarity and offer hope for humanity in response to recent terrorism around the world. Entitled, “Songs for the World,” the concert will bring together professional singers and pianists from the Charlotte region for a musical performance that acknowledges fears and inspires hope.
When: Sat., Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m. – St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 115 W 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28202
Why: Throughout history, music and song have brought people together in celebration and triumph and even in times of despair. As a universal art form that evokes emotion, music is a powerful tool that can unite and uplift the human spirit, offering comfort and solace.
