Temple Israel, 4901 Providence Road, is presenting a concert, Cantor & Friends, on Sunday, May 14th, 2017, at 4 p.m. The concert is free. No RSVP is required, but seating is limited.
A cantor is is the musical leader of Jewish religious services. Elias Roochvarg has been cantor of Temple Israel since 1995. He will be joined by Monty Bennett in concert.
The two will sing songs that all aspects of Jewish life: birth, childhood, youth, love, loss, marriage, family, work, and more.
