Mountain Faith Band, a bluegrass/gospel family band from Sylva, North Carolina, will be performing in a free Thanksgiving Eve concert on Wednesday, November 25th, 2015, at 7 p.m., at Christ Episcopal Church, 1412 Providence Road. They play traditional and contemporary bluegrass, but also bring in elements of classic and modern country, folk, acoustic and contemporary gospel, and even a little rhythm and blues. They recently made it to the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent. Please bring a food donation for Loaves & Fishes Food Pantries of Mecklenburg County. They’ll be performing at the Novant Thanksgiving Day Parade the following day.
