Carolina Voices is presenting a free concert, Tapestry of Voices, on Friday, May 19th, 2017, at 7:30 p.m., at St. John’s Baptist Church, 300 Hawthorne Lane.
From Carolina Voices:
As differently-colored pieces of thread woven together become one tapestry, diverse voices join together to create one sound. Music is a common thread that weaves through our lives, connecting notes to a page, voices to souls, and people to people.
To celebrate this connection, Carolina Voices is excited to announce Festival Singers’ first professional recording. We invite you to experience firsthand the preview of the recording in their upcoming concert, ‘Tapestry of Voices.’ Compositions include Ola Gjeilo’s “Luminous Night of the Soul” and Eric Whitacre’s “Alleluia” and more.
This concert is presented free of charge as a thank you for your long-time support of Festival Singers and Carolina Voices. We are accepting contributions to support the recording. Contributions may be made at the event or click here
