Community School of the Arts will present two free concerts by Sphinx Virtuosi on October 4th and 6th, 2017.

The Sphinx Virtuosi is one of the nation’s most dynamic professional chamber orchestras, comprised of 18 of the nation’s top Black and Latino classical soloists.
These alumni of the internationally renowned Sphinx Competition come together each fall as cultural ambassadors to reach new audiences with varied repertoire, while working to advance diversity in classical music.
Sphinx will present the concert “Concerti per Venti” for the community. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Sphinx Organization, this exciting program offers a collection of concerti through the ages, performed by the 18-piece self-conducted Sphinx Virtuosi.
From baroque to modern day, the program has something for every listener, showcasing tremendous variety in languages and styles.
