On Saturday, July 12th, 2014, bring the whole family to Independence Park, 300 Hawthorne Lane, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. for A Play in the Park. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. There will be food vendors, arts, crafts, clothing, jewelry, music and books. Music and dance groups will perform, and an inspirational play, written and directed by Kemisha W. Ebron, will be performed by youth and adults from the community
