Regular price to the public
Champions of history include museum and historic site staff, volunteers, and donors; members of lineage and genealogical societies; reenactors; members of historical trade guilds, councils, and consortia; historians; librarians; government organizations and elected officials dedicated to historic causes; as well as administrators, teachers, and others at our local schools working to make sure students understand how valuable history is.
If you’re described in the above paragraph, then you get free admission on June 2nd.
The event will include:
- Tours of the Hezekiah Alexander Homesite
- The second lecture in the Ron Hankins History Talks Lecture Series presented by Wells Fargo
- Information on how to preserve your own family history
- Special presentations by some of the many champions of history in the Queen City.
All of these activities are also open to members of the public who are visiting the museum June 2nd (regular admission applies.)
