Start the New Year by enjoying the outdoors with a hike at Lake Norman State Park, 759 State Park Road in Troutman. This ranger-led hike, at 1:00 p.m. (at Lake Shore Trailhead) on January 1st, 2015, is a free event but requires pre-registration.
Bring in the New Year with Lake Norman State Park! Join a Ranger for our Photo Scavenger Hunt (First Day Hike). We will be searching for natural items to photograph and exploring the forest. For our younger hikers, we will play a photography game. Let’s see who can take the best picture!
