The Last Word, 5744 North Tryon Street, is hosting a free Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016, from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., featuring Guerilla Poets. Guerilla Poets will be performing “The Raven: A Reenactment.” After the play there will be an open mic, so come with your spooky stories, dark poetry, chilling tales and spine rattling songs. There will also be face-painting, tarot readings, raffles and games. Wear your favorite costume! Food and drink will be available as well. Food and drink tickets are $7, which will be a fundraiser toward the goal of adding a stage and coffee bar to The Last Word. Keep up to date on the Facebook event.
