Duke Energy’s EnergyExplorium, 13339 McGuire Nuclear Station Road in Huntersville, will be the site for a free Health and Wellness Expo on Saturday, April 8th, 2017, from noon to 3 p.m.
Nutritionists, fitness gurus and other wellness experts will be on hand to discuss ways to get fit and live well.
There will be lots of vendor giveaways, raffles for prizes, biometric screenings and live cooking and exercise demonstrations.
Healthy snacks will be available and food trucks will be on-site.

Here’s the schedule:

- 2:00 p.m.: Healthy Eating on a Budget— Disprove the myth that eating healthy is expensive. Learn how to plan, purchase and prepare healthy meals while staying within a budget.
- 2:20 p.m.: Zumba—Shrink everything but your smile! Let the music free your body in the ultimate dance-fitness party.
- 2:30 p.m.: Stress Management—Are you stressed? Sometimes stress is unavoidable, but you can learn how to manage it. Improve your stress management skills by incorporating these techniques in your daily routine.
