The President James K. Polk Historic Site is hosting a “pop-up program” on Saturday, June 18th, 2016, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteer Michele Glover will demonstrate “tatting,” a historic weaving technique which was used to make lace, in the Polk visitors center lobby.
