Free ice cream social for dogs at Bruster’s of Matthews

National Black Dog Day, October 1st, is meant to shine some light on black dogs, who are often hard to find homes for.

Celebrate a little bit early at a FREE ice cream social for dogs on September 28th, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Bruster’s of Matthews, at 545 West John Street, Matthews.

Bruster’s is offering all dogs a free ice cream sundae, while supplies last.

In addition:

• Dogs will be available for adoption from Rover’s Rescue & Retreat
• Pet education assistance and resources from Care 4 Pear
• Free samples from Pet in the City
