Matthews Heritage Museum is partnering with Brakeman’s Coffee to provide a free activity for kids.
On October 21, November 11 and November 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., folks from the Museum will help kids make a ring catcher, an early toy.
Parents can buy a coffee at Brakeman’s while the kids are entertained. Then if they present their receipt to Matthews Heritage Museum, right across the street, that day, they will receive a dollar off admission, which is normally $4.
Brakeman’s is at 225 North Trade Street, Matthews.
