Join us as we recognize and honor the work of
Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, January 16, 2016. Award-winning journalist Fannie Flono will speak on Dr. King’s legacy and the Civil Rights movement in Charlotte. After Ms. Flono’s presentation, we invite visitors of all ages to take part in a collaborative art project that will be displayed at the Museum, create their own collages of dreams, and make their own posters for change for a parade at the museum.
