Christ Episcopal Church, at 1412 Providence Road, is hosting a free Mother’s Day concert on Sunday, May 11th, 2014, at 3 p.m. Here are the details: Rob Ridgell, Director of Music and the Arts of Christ Episcopal Church and Tom Burge, Trombonist with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra will perform a fantastic and unusual Mother’s Day Concert featuring Franz Liszt’s “Hosannah”, Sonata in A by Francesco Saverio Geminiani, Piece Symphonique by Alexandre Guilmant and Two Invocations by Petr Eben. Come with your mother – or, remember your mother in this concert in honor of motherhood! Free and open to the public.
