Admission to both Mint Museum locations is always free Wednesdays after 5:00 p.m. This Wednesday, January 28th, 2015, Mint Museum Uptown, 500 South Tryon Street, hosts a special activity, also free. It starts with a “Spotlight Tour” of the exhibit “T.R. in Panama,” depicting then-President Teddy Roosevelt’s historic visit to the Canal. After the tour, go to James B. Duke Auditorium for a free screening of excerpts from the acclaimed Ken Burns documentary “The Roosevelts: An Intimate History.”
