Hickory Tavern, at 9010 Harris Corners Parkway, will be the venue for the official Carolina Panthers Draft Party on Saturday, May 10th, 2014, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, and food and drink will be available for purchase. Bring three non-perishable food items or a $3 donation to Second Harvest Food Bank to be entered in a raffle for Panthers gear and autographed items. Meet and get autographs from current and former Panthers, watch the draft on the screens, and enjoy entertainment from Sir Purr and PurrCussion. Play-by-play announcer Mick Mixon will conduct a Q and A. There will be face painting, Twist the Balloon Man, a bounce house and field goal kick. At 4 p.m. there will be a costume contest.
