On America Recycles Day, Saturday, November 14th, Mecklenburg County Solid Waste Services will offer free paper shredding. Bring by up to three cardboard banker boxes full of household papers to one of the five full service recycling drop-off locations be shredded. Don’t bring papers in plastic bags. The shredding will start at 8 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. or when the trucks are filled, whichever happens first.
