The public is invited to a free performance at the Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, 551 South Tryon Street, on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015, at at 3:30 p.m. The dance performance is by Moving Stories Project. The performance is offered in partnership with Martha Connerton and the Kinetic Works Dancers. Moving Stories Project uses dance to creatively engage formerly incarcerated women. The dance performance will be followed by a discussion with the artists and women from Changed Choices. Admission to the performance is free but if you want to visit the exhibits at the Gantt Center you’ll need to pay admission.
