The public is invited to a free piano recital by Davidson’s new Artist Associate in Piano, Will Fried, on Thursday, March 13th, 2014, at 7:30pm. The concert will be held at Tyler-Tallman Recital Hall in Sloan Music Center. Fried will will present an innovative program of contemporary works inspired by Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations, including Veränderungen by French electronic music pioneer Philippe Manoury and The People United Will Never Be Defeated! by American pianist-composer and activist Frederick Rzewski.
