Free pizza at Blaze Pizza at Shoppes at University Place

Blaze Pizza is opening its second Charlotte location, this one at Shoppes at University Place, 8948 J.M. Keynes Drive, near UNCC, on Thursday, August 31st, 2017.

To celebrate, on Friday, September 1st, from 11 a.m. to midnight, it’s giving free pizzas to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Blaze Pizza has an open-kitchen format. Guests customize their pizzas by choosing ingredients from a wide selection of fresh artisanal ingredients. Then the personal pizzas are sent to an open-flame oven where the thin crust pies are cooked in 180 seconds. They cost around $8 each.

All of the pizza and salad ingredients are free of artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, and, for pizza fans with specific dietary needs, Blaze Pizza offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese. The new University Place location will also feature a selection of wine and draft beer.
