Firenza Pizza, a fast casual chain from Virginia that offers made-to-order pizzas with dough made in-house and unlimited toppings, has opened its first Charlotte restaurant (with more to come) near Northlake Mall, at 9821 Northlake Centre Parkway, in Northcrest Shopping Center. The chain has plans to eventually open 19 more restaurants in North Carolina.
It’s celebrating by offering customers free 10-inch pizzas every day through Sunday, January 8th, in exchange for a $2 donation to Lotta Foundation, a local non-profit that helps low-income families, or Long Creek Fire Department. 10-inch pizzas are normally $7.99. They include unlimited toppings.
I gave it a shot yesterday and the pizza was great. There were tons of fresh toppings, including several different cheeses, and the pizza came out really quickly.
In addition, the first 10 guests in line each day from January 6th to January 8th will get free pizza for a year. That’s one pizza a week. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. each day.

We went tonight, it was delicious! The girl took forever putting sauce on my husbands pizza and then kinda forgot about mine when the lady behind me wanted a gluten free crust. Other than it being fairly slow (which I can chalk up to it being new) it was AMAZING! The owner even brought out our toddler a little dish of ice cream since we had to wait a bit between our pizzas! So delicious!! I got the Monterey and my hubby got a pepperoni and bacon pizza with the traditional sauce and garlic! Definitely going back soon! Great value!
