Hero Appreciation Day at Aliño Pizzeria in Mooresville on Dec 7: free pizza for teachers, healthcare workers, grocery store workers, more…

Healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, healthcare workers, teachers, daycare workers, grocery store workers and other essential workers in the Mooresville area, Aliño Pizzeria wants to thank you with a free pizza!

On Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., show your workplace ID and get one free takeout Margherita or Sorrento pizza. 

The offer is for takeout only. Also, they won’t be able to take call-in orders on December 7th.

One pizza per hero.

Whole Margherita Pizza: Fresh buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh basil, fresh garlic. 

Whole Sorrento Pizza: Pepperoni, San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, fresh garlic.

Aliño is at 500 S Main Street, Mooresville.

Aliño previously hosted Appreciation Days in March and April, giving away more than 4,700 pizzas between the two days. This time, the giveaway will include additional heroes who are keeping our grocery stores running and assisting with essential travel.

“We’re doing this to say thank you. Thank you for everything you’re giving to our community,” says owner Michal Bay. A native of Turkey, Bay moved to the United States nearly 20 years ago. Now, he says, he wants to give back to the country that welcomed him.

Aliño Pizzeria has become a mainstay in Mooresville since its opening in 2015, known for Neapolitan-style made from the best ingredients, prepared simply.

Aliño hosted three Heroes Appreciation Days in 2020, giving away nearly 7,000 pizzas over three days.
