Two area Walmarts are offering some holiday freebies this weekend. The events take place at the Walmarts at 1830 Galleria Boulevard and 8180 South Tryon Street. No pre-registration is taking place for these events, so keep that in mind, especially for the Santa pictures.
- Free Santa Photos–Parents can get a 5-by-7 picture with Santa or a 5-by-7 Christmas-themed photo for free. The experience is made complete with a keepsake photo holder and candy cane or a treat and gift from Santa. Date and Time: Dec. 6 – 7, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Taste of the Holidays: Create quick dishes on a budget at Walmart’s Taste of the Holidays food sampling and recipe demo events. Date and Time: Dec. 6, 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Toys and Gadget Demos: Customers can try before they buy with in-store demos on top electronics and entertainment gifts, like tablets, smartphones, video games and consoles. Date and Time: Dec. 6, noon – 4 p.m.
