Energy Explorium, at 13339 Hagers Ferry Road in Huntersville, is hosting two free science events for homeschoolers. In recognition of the NC Science Festival week, March 28 – April 13, the EnergyExplorium will host two events to promote the love of science in young people. On March 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., upper elementary and middle school students will participate in hands-on science activities and explore the use of chemistry and physics at a variety of stations. The program will be hosted in partnership with the Catawba Science Center.
A high school level program, “Problem Solving: A Key to Engineering,” is scheduled for Friday, April 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Students will work together on a variety of activities to get a better understanding of engineering and teamwork.
