This free film and discussion series on the 1960s takes places at various Charlotte Mecklenburg Library locations.
The decade of the 1960s was the most turbulent, perhaps the most memorable, and no doubt the most controversial in the twentieth century. The Sixties: A Film History of America’s Decade of Crisis and Change uses films, lectures and discussions to engage your interest in this fascinating period of history. The series consists of six programs, each featuring an award-winning documentary to provide context for a scholar-led discussion.
