Discovery Place is offering a free activity that combines art and science, Solar Pyrography. It takes place on the North Tryon Street patio, on Saturday, September 24th, 2016, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Join Discovery Place educators and solar artist Brian MacDonald as we harness the power of the sun to create dazzling designs. Combining optics and heat, we’ll see our visions burn their way into the wood.
In case of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled for Sunday, September 25.
