Wingate University Ballantyne and Ballantyne Corporate Park are hosting a free community stargazing event on Friday, November 3rd, 2017, at 7:15 p.m.
Park for free in the parking deck of the Boyle Building (13034 Ballantyne Corporate Place, Charlotte, NC 28277). The event will begin on the adjacent soccer field.
Astronomy Professor Grant Thompson will guide a “tour” of the Fall sky with opportunities to observe stars and Saturn through Wingate University’s telescopes.
Guests will enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and hot cider.
Please bring a flashlight and blanket or chairs. All ages are welcome.
