Did you know that Ray’s Splash Planet, the indoor water park at 215 North Sycamore Street run by Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation, offers free swim lessons for kids ages 5-10?
Parents need to sign up on a monthly basis. You have to show up in person, with your child, to sign your child up.
A public lottery will be held after registration. The next lottery is Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. Remember, your child needs to be present.
This lottery event was announced on Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation’s Facebook page.
If selected in the lottery, you can select one of these times for your child’s swim lessons:
- Wednesdays, 5 to 7 p.m.
- Saturdays, 8 to 10 a.m.
