Saturday, March 25th, 2017, the first “We’ve Got the Jazz” Festival will take place at NoDa Brewing Company, 2921 North Tryon Street, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s presented by Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in partnership with CLTure.
This is a free, family-friendly event but you need to reserve your ticket.
It will showcase jazz culture and all of its influences in the Charlotte community, with a headlining performance by the Harvey Cummings Project.

Charlotte native Harvey Cummings II is an award winning saxophonist, pianist, songwriter, and producer. His unique sound blends jazz, hip-hop, and soul to create an incredible listening experience.
His band, The Harvey Cummings Project is a driving force in today’s modern jazz movement, performing for President Barack Obama, and other festivals and events.
Since graduating from North Carolina Central University with 2 degrees in music, Harvey’s music has been featured on Cartoon Network’s “The Boondocks” and commercials for Allen Edmonds Shoes. Many podcasts have Harvey’s signature music to it.
Harvey has been featured on many records and have performed live with King Mez, Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Carlitta Durand, J Gunn, Elevator Jay and many more.
Besides the live music, this festival will feature a curated playlist, special event-themed beer, local vendors, food trucks, games, live art, raffles, and more.
