Whether you are a cancer patient or a long-time survivor; whether you are newly diagnosed or in treatment; whether you are gathering strength or looking at cancer in the rear-view mirror; our Yoga for Cancer classes are for you. Yoga supports your recovery and helps you feel whole again. Yoga cultivates strength, flexibility, and balance at all phases of your cancer journey. Yoga may even reveal a sense of gratitude and confidence you have not previously known.
But not all yoga classes are right for cancer patients. And for some, taking a yoga class can be intimidating because of the unique physical and emotional needs that accompany cancer and its treatments. Yoga for Cancer classes offer breath and movement practices that are tailored to address the specific needs of cancer patients and survivors. Yoga for Cancer classes are neither “one size fits all” nor a basic gentle yoga class. Taught by teachers who received specialized training to teach yoga to cancer patients and survivors in various phases of treatment and recovery, Yoga for Life’s Yoga for Cancer classes are perfect for you! We hope you’ll give them a try.
