Fry Me a River Homegrown Fish Fry Art Festival is a free event taking place at NoDa Brewing Company, 2921 North Tryon Street, on Saturday, October 7th, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The event celebrates 100 Gardens’ harvest of its aquaponic fish. Sea Level and Dan the Pig Man will be selling battered fresh fish and fixings.
There will be live music, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with Flying Shoes, an acoustic duo featuring Slade Baird from Amigo and Mark Baran from Sinners & Saints.
Local art vendors will be on the scene too.
NoDa will be brewing a special beer for the occasion.
The event will be held outside and will be kid- and pet-friendly. If it rains, it’ll move inside.
