Freebies and resources for furloughed federal employees

This post was first written in 2019, the last time there was a government shutdown. We’re hoping there’s not one about to happen, but if there is, we’ll gather information about resources for furloughed federal employees.

In 2019, some local businesses are stepping up to try to assist federal employees who have been furloughed due to the government shutdown.

Pizzas and donuts don’t make up for the loss of income, hopefully allowed furloughed employees to at least enjoy a treat, courtesy of some caring local business owners.
