On Saturday, October 18th, 2014, Microsoft Retail Store will open at SouthPark Mall. Only the second Microsoft Retail Store in North Carolina, it will be in the Nordstrom wing, and will cover 2,261 square feet. The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 10:30 a.m. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Microsoft will present grants to local community organizations. The grand opening starts at 11:00 a.m. During the grand opening, Microsoft will host giveaways and offer great deals on PCs, Windows Phones, Xbox releases and more. The first 1,500 people in line will each receive two tickets to the Kelly Clarkson concert at Symphony Park at SouthPark Sunday, October 19th. It might be wise to show up early to get in line. In addition, they will have a chance to win one of 100 tickets to a Meet & Greet with Kelly Clarkson. On Sunday, lines open at Symphony Park at 12:00 p.m., gates open at 2:00 p.m., and the concert starts at 4:00 p.m.
